I have been a licensed real estate broker in Colorado since 2007. I grew up in Colorado (Ft. Collins) and attended Colorado State University. My professional career has included many years in social services and affordable housing. I have a Masters's degree in Social Work (MSW) and am passionate about improving communities and helping people improve their living situation. I believe strongly that owning a home is one of the best ways to achieve long-term financial health. Research also shows that children of homeowners tend to do better in school, and their parents are more involved in their communities. Homeownership is a Win-Win-Win!
As a Senior Real Estate Specialist, my mission is to improve your housing situation. That could mean helping you with a transition or helping make the place you live safe and sustainable.
A big part of my real estate experience is in what the real estate investors call "Fixing and Flipping." But what we called "Acquisition-Rehab-Resell" at the non-profit housing organization I worked. I've walked through thousands of foreclosures and played a role in buying-rehabbing-selling over 100 homes. I know the difference between a dud and a deal.
